Project Description/Base Bid: The UVU Sorensen Student Center Starbucks Tenant Improvement
project includes approximately 1,213 sf of tenant improvement space in the existing student
center bookstore and includes a back-of-house workroom (259 sf), serving counter (343 sf) and
queuing and seating areas (611 sf). Contractors will be required to maintain pedestrian access to
the bookstore which will remain open during the tenant improvement project. Contractors to
coordinate with Starbuck’s vendors and installers for equipment, specific finish materials,
millwork, and signage. Trades involved include carpentry, metal stud framing and drywall, tile
flooring, mechanical (plumbing and HVAC) and electrical.
The trades involved in this project are Selective Demolition, Cast in Place Concrete, Cold Formed Metal Framing, Miscellaneous Rough Carpentry, Interior Finish Carpentry, Plastic Paneling, Joint Sealants, Access Doors & Frames, Traffic Doors, Metal Studs / Drywall, Ceramic & Porcelain Tile, Acoustical Tile Ceilings, Exterior Painting, Fire Protection Cabinets, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Sprinklers, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Communications, Fire Alarm.
This project also has OFCI, OFOI Items. Please pay particular attention to that for your trade coordination.
