space into a new SIRFER (Stable Isotope Ratio Facility for Environmental Research) lab for the
department of Geology and Geophysics. The scope of works includes demolition of existing finishes and
equipment, construction of new sampling and prep areas, equipment stations, offices, a conference room,
storage space, and associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc

Project Description/Base Bid: This project is a renovation of the historic Glendinning Home to house security
functions for the Governor’s Mansion. The Glendinning Home is a 3,200 square foot house on the Governor’s
Mansion site (Block 407)located at 617 East South Temple that will become the entry point for visitors to the site.
The scope of work includes a complete interior renovation, exterior rehabilitation, and landscaping improvements. It
also includes the addition of an interior basement stair, improvements in the basement space and the addition of a
partial underground passage that will eventually connect to underground parking.

Additive Alternates: The design team is working on alternates that may be used to bring construction costs within
the budget if needed. These will be deductive alternates and will be available August 1, 2024.

Project has been redesigned for value engineering and to meet clients needs.

Addendum 2 is the latest information consisting of narative of changes and a new set of drawings.
