Project description:

Construction of an additional 2,500 sqft bay to building 5 at Utah Transit Authority’s Depot garage. This expansion will provide increased compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling capacity.

 

Bid Alternate- Demolish portion of concrete floor for installation of new trench drains in bay 1 & 2. See sheet (AD101)

 

Trades Involved:

Demolition, saw cutting, concrete, masonry, structural metal framing, metal joist & deck, metal fabrications, thermal insulation, metal siding, membrane roofing, hollow metal doors & frames, overhead doors, drywall and metal stud, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, earthwork, CNG fueling, diesel fueling.

A-Z Building Blocks is building a new location in Salt Lake City at Liberty Corner.

This tenant improvement project is approximately 11,000 square feet and is located on the bottom two levels of a new construction building. The project consists of classrooms, play areas, offices, restrooms, a kitchen, laundry, and storage.

 

Plumbing rough-in is expected to be completed before the tenant improvement project begins. Please include rough-in plumbing as an add alternate to cover the cost if that work is not performed prior to the start of the tenant improvement work.

 

Please submit your bids to us before Thursday, February 19, by 4:00 PM.

 

ARUP Building 615

Mechanical Upgrade

The scope of work includes upgrading the mechanical chillers (Provided by ARUP) and expanding the mechanical enclosure to the south to accommodate the new equipment, as well as constructing a new electrical room addition. (ARUP is responsible for all MEP work)

 

The trades involved in this project:

demolition, cast in place concrete, masonry, lintels, steel beams, metal deck, insulation, TPO roofing, metal flashings, hollow metal door and frame, drywall, paint, earthwork. 

 

The construction schedule is approximately 90 working days.

Start: January 20th, 2026

Chillers installed by: April 2026  

Completion: May 29th, 2026
